So we're guessing that you've had a look around and like the look & sound of what we do? That's fantastic - we'd love to welcome you to 1st Hensingham!
The table below shows when the different sections meet. The next step is to contact us - let us know your name, age or date of birth, and the best number to contact you on. One of our leaders will get in touch shortly to discuss a start date.
If you're getting close to the upper end of the core age let us know, as it might be better for you to join the next section.
If you haven't already, have a look at our FAQs about joining Scouts.

Our Group is entirely run by volunteers. The fun and adventure that makes being a Scout at 1st Hensingham so special is only possible because of the enthusiasm and energy of our leaders, young leaders, Executive Committee and oth adult supporters.
As the saying goes, "many hands make light work" and we're always looking to welcome new members into the Group. As well as that warm and fuzzy feeling you'll get from helping our younger members experience new adventures and have a great time, volunteering with 1st Hensingham is also great fun!
There are loads of ways you can help us and join in the Scouting adventure yourself. In addition to help running the sections, we also need people to help us "behind the scenes," so if getting wet and muddy, camping, or tying knots isn't your cup of tea - you can still get involved!
Check out our our FAQs for more information about how you can help and how to get started. You can download details of our current volunteering opportunities here:
